WOW! Aren't you guys lucky there are those who are and were willing to place their lives on the line and in many cases make that ultimate sacrifice so you can enjoy your freedom. I imagine if you were to make these thoughts known in North Korea, Iraq or a number of other places you would be executed out of hand.

I feel for you paxx because the day your faced with a life or death situation you would rather die then defend yourself even if it meant killing someone. If you have a girlfriend or wife I suggest you tell them that you plan on wimping out before hand so that if your ever faced with a life or death situation you'll turn and run.

I'm glad I'm surrounded by Marines who will not only dive on a grenande or even risk their own hide to save mine and I'd do the same, but you........I just feel sorry for you.

and Lastly, I prefer to speak on topics in which I have some experience in real life. Speaking about a topic with book read knowledge alone provides for little validation of the speakers intellect. Great, they can remember what someone else had written and repeat someone elses thoughts, but does not show that the speaker has any ability to think for themselves.

Perhaps the next time paxx is wandering the beautiful French country side he should stop at one of the eleven American Battlefield Monuments located on French soil and tell the 60,486 buried there they should have believed like him. Then he should ask himself what kind of a country he would be living in if he did.

That's fine but I still think you would have second thoughts and hesitation to do something........in the Marines "Hesitation Kills" and either way I'm glad you are not someone I will ever have to fight next to.

But you would be glad if I were someone you'd have to fight against.

I was never "glad" to go to war. I was never "glad" to see my crew mates get shot-up. I was never "glad" to listen to a guy die on the radio when we couldn't get to them. I was never "glad" to know that when we went on mission the other guy was going to die. I wouldn't be "glad" to have to fight you. But, I'd fight you just the same if you were threatening my country, family, brothers-in-arms, way-of-life, ideals, etc.
