Metaverse is a scoreboard. Multiplayer is... multiplayer.

1.6 has been released.

Multiplayer is more than one human player in a game.

Metaverse is the reporting system on games played.

You can switch to the default Steam branch to get the released 1.6 version of GalCiv3. There is also a 1.61 opt-in available.
