how change homepage

in palemoon

Probably a simple thing to do.  Spent an hour looking 'in' browsers infos.  Went to pale-moon site, checkjed FAQ, 'help' etc.  How do I change the home page the pale moon browser brings up?  Version is one just prior to most recent update.  I hate the 'start me' page and wish to use a different home page.  How do i do this?  IS it even possible with pale-moon?  Thank you all.  :)

Open the browser, navigate to the page you want to use as your home page, say google.com for example.

Open the Options dialog & click the General tab.

You'll see the section at the top labeled Startup.

Click the button that reads Use Current Pages...

You're good to go.

and another way is to click on the blue palemoon button on the top left of the window, then go to the options (hover over it, then another submenu pops up with another options, left click on the SECOND options, then in the general tab type the web address you want

actually the absolute worst that could happen is a BSOD, but the chances of that happening in a web browser is almost ZERO unless there are virii, junkware and other crapware in the computer, and if that happens then you WILL want to call me(or other experienced honest computer techs) to come and fix the problems.

Blue Screen of Death?  Doesn't a cold-hard reboot fix that?  (Seriously).

only sometimes, if there is conflicting software loading during the boot then it will bsod during the boot as well, or take forever to load or do anything

Ah, hanks, .. I have occasionally gotten the BSOD, when an ap (alright a PC game - busted I am) goes bananas because i hit a key that's not set up for that stage of the game.  So, since I  auto load as little as possible (keep start menu items 'off' as much as possible) during boot up, the BSOD I occasionally get isn't a start u conflict - so I may get a way with the cold rebbot.  But if it were conflicts in start up items, I might have problems?  Is good to lean...   :)

leaning can be good, just bee coreful nit to lean to far or you might fall over.

btw what is a rebbot? is it anything like a rabbit?

@Harpo 'Rebbot' is one variety of Terrestrial furry biped, with very large floppy ears, and large, powerful hind legs.  Favored mode of locomotion is 'hopping.'  The rebbot variety's distinctive feature that separates it from other terrestrial 'rabbits' is the presence of cybernetic structures.  Note that these cyber-structures are not implants, but rather form in-utero.  Rebbots are very rare, and almost never actually seen.  They like small caves.  Generally, well established Rebbot caves will have multitudes of bones laying about - as rebbots dislike housekeeping chores.  The most famous record of Terrestrial humans encountering a rebbot may be found in the Python Scrolls version of the Cycles of King Arthur.  Here King Arthur, upon encountering a rebbot in its natural habitat, exclaims: "Run away, run away."

ah just one of the tiny local grass eating kangarouges, the larger ones can even catch bullets then jump over the shooters and drop them onto the shooters along with a large quantity of local loose rocks of various sizes, and they do prefer the armer weather, but during the colder weather they tend to just keep hopping along until they warm up

'armer weather'?  is this because they drop bullets?

With tiny little parachutes with happy faces on them.

no no pair o shoots, just LOTS of bull tits and rocks, and therre have been NO reports of any faces on them, but the most difficult part of hunting them is that they somehow always attack in the direction the attack came from.

even the abbo's have a lot of difficulty in hunting them without loosing the entire hunting party and they found the best weapon was the big hunting boomerrangs when thrown is such a way that the return path hits the kanagrouges (preferably on the back of their tiny heads) so that the reaction of the kangarouge is away from the hunting party.

and it was a tipo, shud a hud a w at the hart

Buckeyballs since you can't see 'em comin'.

bucket balls, eh, sound a BIT soft in the drink department due to needing a whole bucket for each ball and the ball not leaving much space in the bucket for the important stuff

That's what the bubbles are for.  :P

but the bubbles reduce even further the space in the 'bucket' for the IMPORTANT stuff, so you have LESS important stuff in the bucket so you need MORE buckets to get/store samequantity of the important stuff you want/need

Custom made holes in the bucket allow for important stuff to hide so the bubbles bypass them for posterity.
