I thought you were supposed to find heroes turned into statues, but after over a hundred turns, I have yet to see one. I only have my starting hero and one I got when my leader leveled up.
Don't think I've ever had a game where there wasn't one. Do you have the whole map revealed? Very possibly it is in some far corner.
When the 'Recruit Hero' sovereign was added (about a month ago) we dropped the number of Hero Statues in the world. I'll have to check the code, but even the Arena map sizes should have 1 statue in them. If you have a game where you just can't find the other hero, please send the save file to [email protected] and I'll look it over in the debugger - see where those shy heroes are hiding
3 games and 1 campaign so far post release. always had at least one. Sometimes easy to miss on stratigraphic map zoomed in, but zoomed out (paper map0 they are very visible (blue star)
