Yes...India were great all the way to the final, but it seems they just faced a 'fired-up' Ponting who wanted to rewrite some record books......and then he hit 8 6's, and one of 'em was right out of the ground....never to be seen again...
Martyn dropped a catch which could have hastened the win....due to a broken finger...but made up for it at the end with a good one.
One comment was made....the 20,000th run was taken during the World Cup in the final....that means that altogether, a batsman ran 500 miles......[no, you idiots...not the SAME batsman]...
