Worth the buy or wait...

Been following this game for several months now and for some reason i cannot make up my mind if it's worth buying in this state. I do not bother to much about bugs or unfinished content, as it is a EA. However i am concerend about the AI, does it give a challenge and do the game mechanic give the game enough depth. Any comments from people who play the game would be welcome :-)

I think it's worth it even now and it only continues to get better. The difficulty is swinging a bit in each direction and currently might be a little too hard, but I personally prefer it that way. As for depth, I see at least a few play throughs worth right now as it will definitely take at least a couple to figure out what to do and the game is not easy, but the depth in general could use a bit more focus. Im il currently campaigning for more end game variety. 

 

I think it's worth it now. I think you'll get some good mileage out of it and the additional polish and conten between now and its supposed July release will only make it better.

Definitely fun.  Limited replay value for me personally though.  Waiting for the scenario/campaign before I will probably play again.

SK is my favourite of the elemental series. According to Steam I have put in 171 hour on Fallen Enchantress and 49 into SK.

 

Working out what I paid divided by time spent - very good value for money games - brilliant highly recommend SK and FE
