Not sure if this was already discussed or solved but i didn't find anything in the forum.
My problem: i have horizontal screen tearing when scrolling the map with the mouse.
How do i get rid of it?!?

The tearing occurs in a horizontal line in the upper third part of the screen whenever the map is moved or zoomed.
The same happens when examining the ships in the ship viewer screen.
Check this post, there might be something there that will help you, if not there are instructions on how to open a support ticket.

After doing some web research i found a 'solution' ... enabling aero desktop in win7 removes the tearing.
Strange thing is that it removes also the same tearing effect in Fallen Enchantress...
But i don't want to use aero at all ... any other solutions Stardock?!?
