How do I get the opt-in patches?

Hi everyone.

I'd like to get the opt-in patches for galciv 3. But when I go to "properties" -> "betas", there's no option for a beta available in the dropdown.

How do I activate the opt-in patches?

You have the right idea, there is no opt-in patch available at this time, Beta 5 patch 2 is expected to be available as an opt-in sometime this week.

Right, like Seilore said, you have to wait until there is one available to opt into before you'll see the option available. Shouldn't be too much longer. ;)

Ok. I assumed this would be a general option to tell steam to install every beta patch as soon it's available, not that I have to manually fetch those patches.

Yes, once a patch goes public the opt-in option goes away.

You only have to do it once and you're always opted in until you opt out. Not a big deal, imho.
