started game, realized I picked wrong size galaxy- immediately went to main screen to start new game with bigger galaxy.
Started that game, got a black screen for the map and minimap, though the UI was normal.

I sent info. However, this condition was solved by starting a new game. It was not a repeatable bug.
im able to repeat this by loading a saved game from inside another game
