Because I'm not finding it. 

Obviously dominion is easy, conquer everyone, and that's what I've been doing.   

What's the story on the other ways to win?   How do you win an alliance victory, for example?   I assume you have to research something, but does that mean they have to research it too?   You can't control what the AI is or isn't researching. 

There's some 'magical spell' way to win too, I'm wondering how that works. 

Never seen a manual that didn't have a 'how to win the game' section but I'm sure there's articles about this somewhere.
