Wasteland 2 question

play WL 1 first?

I just ordered Wasteland 2.  It comes with Wasteland 1 included.  Those of you who have played both, should I play WL 1 before going on to 2?  Or doesn't it matter?

I have just, this minute, finished Wasteland 2. 35 hours apparently.

 

Loved it and would give it 9/10

 

I especially enjoyed seeing how my actions influenced the world. The epilogue of places and characters and how they were affected by my actions was very cool.

Yes, fallout new vegas has a montage at the end highlighting the results of various avatar decisions... was very cool... looking forward to jumping back into wasteland 2   just finished the first main mission ... and headed back to finally get into ranger central....
