What does Environmental Manufacturing do?
The description of Environmental Manufacturing says it gives +1 Level but to what? I didn't see a change in production in my colonies. It would be nice if someone could explain this.
Stardock will be closed for the week starting on Monday, June 29th and we will be returning on Monday, July 6th. We will be monitoring support tickets and forums during this time but expect delays in responses during this time.

There are 3 different environmental technologies to research. Manufactoring, research and wealth. When you research for example the wealth technology, your buildings get +1 to their level on every planet. It is the same, as if you have an adjustancy bonus of +1 on a tile and build an improvement next to it. I still don't know, if it only affects tiles you got from terraforming or all tiles on a planet
It's supposed to increase the level of your manufacturing improvements by +1. However, it actually increases the level of your research improvements instead. (You have to wait a turn before the bonus gets applied.)
Environmental Research, on the other hand, is supposed to increase the level of your research improvements, while actually increasing the level of your manufacturing improvements.
So basically, those two techs are switched up.
Thanks for the answers.
