[1.6 Bug] Not sure what to make of this one...

Good Morning

Strangest thing happened. Was about to run away from a strong Hellknight army with one of my armies. Just prior though, I decided to fight some bears in the far north. Then, once I beat the bears, I went back south to run my army away....but the Hellknight group was no longer there. Instead was the same group of bears!!! I should note that the Hellknight army did travel onto a bear lair just the turn before.

Is it possible that the lair attributes overwrote the type of enemy the Hellknight was suppose to be??

Ummm....comments?

I don't suppose the Hellknight army is under the bear army? Was there enough time for the Hellknight army to move off into the fog of war to the west of the bears? Has another empire been poking around the area with an army that might have been capable of taking the Hellknights?

The Hellknight army was not under the bear army.

I had cleaned out the bear army just the turn before, but had not the chance to take the lair before the Hellknight army approached. I did not think I could take it on, health half gone and all, so I backed away. The Hellknight army moved onto the bear lair.

The following turn my attention was first directed up north where I dispatched a mother bear and her two cubs. After the battle, I moved back to my half dead army only to find that the Hellknight army that was on the bear lair was no longer a Hellknight army, but was instead a bear army consisting of a mother bear and her two cubs.

I am more inclined to believe that the lair had something to do with changing the army type rather than the recent battle I had to the north...

In any case, it was VERY strange and should not have happened...
