[1.6 Crash] Cannot load any saved game

Good Morning

First time playing 1.6, but I doubt this is happening for everybody....there would be more chatter on the threads...

I cannot load any saved game. Crashes every time. Once it crashes from a saved game, it also crashes once or twice when attempting to re-enter the game.

Looking over the debug.err. a lot of the files included in my beta mod are listed.  I'd suggest dragging out my mod stuff real quick and see if that corrects the issue.  Or just disable mods and see if that solves it.

Kind of tells me what I needed to know r.e. if anyone else would have crashing issues using my mod.  Also, the game is 'seeing' my readmes, which might be part of the problem...

I hope (well in a general sense anyways) that I'm the culprit here.  No one LIKES to hear they broke the game, but better me than having Stardock going nuts trying to figure out the issue.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure now I'm the culprit.  I found a couple of loose/extra/unclosed tags that I'm sure the game didn't like.  In my flurry of cut and paste/modify, sometimes things happen.

Assumung GFireflyE's game goes back to normal, my bad!

Good Morning

Finally found some time to sit down and check out your theory.

Spools up a game with mods disabled and could save and load no problem. Therefore, I do believe the problem lies with your mod tjashen.

 

I shall await beta 2.0 prior to testing.

Also let me know if those two readme files should just be deleted.

I followed your installation instructions to a T (even the optional traitpathwynd replacement).
