Can't end turns?

Either my turns freeze because characters have movement and yet I can't skip, or units run in place and then I can't skip turns.

The game doesn't crash per se either, I can still choose different build options or split units or make research decisions I just can't advance my game. Also the game crashes if I try to load so nothing but a hard restart followed by the game redownloading a file on steam before I can click play again fixes it.

Is there a fix? Or is this just a thing that happens and is being worked on?

Do you have more information? Save game, what file needs to be redownloaded. This will help Stardock identify the issue and be able to assist you.
