Galaxy Raids - a game in development

Dear all,

I just started to work onto a space game where you have a base and fight against other players. It will go into the direction of Imperium Galactic War which was unfortunately shut down... It will be available for all big mobile platforms (Android, iOS, Windows Phone 8), probably as browser version too and for PC/Mac.

The reason why I already post it even though it's not that much done yet is, that I would like to have input from this community. I need ideas, what you want to have in such a game, what not and so on.

The main idea is just to have a base on some kind of a platform (just google for Imperium Galactic War) and create your base on it with different buildings, do some research, build your fleets, attack and so on.

I just created a small forum for this to collect ideas but you don't have to register there as I don't intend to advertise and/or split communities, so I'll be active here as well. Nevermind, the link would be: **** edited, sorry don't want to advertise here!

A short note about me: I already have some apps in the stores and I'm very passionate about these types of games. I just write that to ensure you that there is actually a chance this will become a real game.

Thanks for reading!

Hint of spam.

Hmm hint of spam? Sorry for that. I do NOT want to advertise anything here as there is still nothing to advertise for.  O:)

Do my apologies if it comes that way. I really want to collect ideas here! I've removed the link to my page.

I did something similar by writing a game based on something I had fun with. It never got out of the freeware stage. Do a search on downloads.com for "Fangorodrim" and you can download it there. Its a single player game.

Anyway, I was in love with IGW when Kabam killed it. But I was able to get my fix from a similar online game that is almost a complete clone of it (at least in concept and tactics): google "kixeye vega conflict" and you'll see what i mean.

Good luck with your game. I hope the admins permit you to link it when you have something to test.

The 'admins' will always be amenable.  The issue only arises when a very 'recent' member posts links to offsite 'product'. - that's often a tell-tale of spam.

If, however such a link was merely coincidental with an on-going community interaction then there's no issue...;)

Thanks guys, that's very kind of you! I just want to show a very first draw shot taken from my phone (the game itself will be full 3d):
