Question about copyright

I wonder if I just use a theme from a company gamer to a windowblind skin or I need a written permission of this company!!

Not so sure about that Tom as it seems to differ from case to case... There are some Game & movie "Fan art" Blinds that has gone through Mod so...  :sun:

I saw on the net a lot of wallpaper that company so I thought that was free c if c is not for profit

I suggest an email to the company first asking them for permission. Sometimes, to them, it would not matter but, to be on the safe side and to avoid any difficulties ask them for permission to use their graphics. Worst case they'll say no. Go ahead and do it for yourself but bear in mind this...there may be a 'fair use' policy which would allow for usage providing there is no personal gain. At any rate do what you have to. Without knowing what it is you plan to use I hope it works out.

It's hard to give a definite answer as I don't know what exactly it is.  Game companies are usually protective over their IP, but you also have the fair use and fan art aspect of it.
