Pic of Dragon Cave?

Hello,

 

I so so so so badly want to create a group of dragon riders and conquer the world.

 

I haven't been able to find a dragon cave at all. I've found many dragons, but was forced to kill them all.

 

Where can I find the Dragon Cave resource? Will it be under a dragon that I must fight? What kind of symbol will appear above it (i.e. a pickaxe or a golden scroll)? What does its in-game asset look like; can someone take a picture? Does it appear on the strategic map?

It usually appears as a monster lair. Kill the dragon on it (or just lure it away from the lair) and loot the lair. If it's a dragon cave, it will turn into a resource (so it will have the pickaxe symbol above it)

Dragon lairs are very rare. I believe there's one (or more) Wildland guaranteed to have a Storm Dragon lair. Otherwise, you might play several games without seeing one.

You cannot build Dragonriders, by the way. A Dragon lair, just like an Ogre lair or the Knights of Asok, provides a unit for your army every x turns.

A Dragon is very strong though; it almost ensures victory by itself. There's also a questline with a dragon as a reward, but you need a pretty badass-army to be able to complete it.
