Latest Map I played on.

Why do the AI love to bring lots of armies and then proceed to put them into a single tile? It makes them too easy to be countered with stratgetic map spells. x.x

Still took me well over 2 hours to clear them out and I used so much guardian winds today. xD They still managed to field better archers than the Tarth did.

Procipinee's not finest hour. She got all bloodthirsty and charged ahead of her army then took a swing at one of my spearmen and missed and then did a backswing and it hit. Then I healed it off and surrounded her and she said.. Sorry? ;D

Altar's trying to outdo some of the eternally broke AIs with access to federal banking reserve that I have seen on Civ series.

Omg, probably going to be the bestest event I'll ever have!!!11111 I was all tense and ready to see the return of titan overlords.

Then a pretty pimped out dude in pimp gear showed up right next to my Capital and I said OH NO YOU DON'T then I ordered my milita with maces in one of nearby town to squash him on autoresolve. They got squishyed without doing 1 point of damage on the titan. I was like D=

Then ordered one of my patrolling warg ridgers army with leather armor+pikes.  And did tactical battle with Varlis, I charged in closed the range then Varlis's turn started and took a swing at one of my units and killed half of it. Then by 2nd turn it was all over for Varlis. He got swarmed and squashed. Then I was like oh. Not such a big deal after all. Kinda disappointing but maybe there'll be an army of titans out there?

Then few turns later, I noticed this black portal, despite it showing up where fiveish improvements is and spawned a giant death demon army it never razed any of my improvements so I didn't notice it until few turns later. Then I told my sovereign to march into the portal then poof, it is all over for the titans. Welp, how anticlimatic. Syndicate uprising event was a bigger threat than the return of the titans. :(

Then I found a really sweet hidden surprise if you get a certain event later into the game when  you have plate armor researched.. This unit will come with plate armor! XD

I have 10 settlements, Tarth have 10 settlements.

So I dow her, I find out tarth sucks at this whole being a Queen thing other than fighting.

I found her cavalry army and it met my cavalry army..

But mine is heavy cavalry and her was light cavalry.. and you know what happens when a light cavalry try to charge the heavy cavalry headon.

Then next three cities of her was completely routed the same way and I found her capital of Hope.

Then I attacked and the map layout was like this..

I already killed about all of melee militia by the time i took this screenshot.

She did not stand a chance at all.

Seriously Stardock please at least teach FE:LH AIs on how to manage unrest. They all basically dropping their taxes to 10% because they have skyhigh unrest. And in turn that means they can't harvest resources required to make powerful and manly units like my mounted knights. Makes the game too much of a yawnfest.

I once saw pariden create a spearman unit with full set of champion armor on it and it was wielding a boar spear.. it died in the invasion of my territory though. Tarth had alot alot of level 11ish units while my knights was only level 3 at best, they're now like level 6ish though after stabbing alot of tarth's soldiers.

While I'm at it, Please buff return of titans event. I somehow expected despair and I didn't get it. I even saw Capitar kill a titan with four units still alive after the battle.

Edit: Almost forgot this one..

This is the titan which got stomped on by one of capitar's army. Disregard the one that's to the northwest of the titan, that one is capping tarth's outpost.

As the Titam seems to be "Men" -race, I'd like to use Karavox's ability on it :D

As matter of fact, in one of my previous threads, that's what one of players did. They can be recruited through Kraxis and raise unholy hell on enemies for you. Kraxis only have one city left, I'm tempted to force him to surrender to me in case there's still more titans wandering in the current map.

I remember titan have access to blizzard but i forgot other spells.

That is so evil. So incredibly, elementally evil.  I like it. Lots.  :) :) :)

Here's the update, finally got around to finishing it because this game get very buggy when it reaches 19-20+hours on a map very often.

Anyways, After tarth got rolled over, I selected altar as my next target....

One side effect of mowing the AI down means they will get tougher because their skyhigh unrest will go down as they lose cities and become enabled to start producing better units xD

After cutting down few bad towns from altar an epic battle around tandoor happened because it was buried behind a huge forest which I had to slog through and attack it. My armies got hit with 6+ tornadoes before one of them would finally reach the city and pummel it.

Also it is the first battle where I start to see good units from Altar.

And then other units in its army was decent/outright bad. And then I noticed a unit which was carrying a spear that looked funny for it's armor.... so I decided to investigate it.. X_x Why so cheap to buy it a boar spear oh come on! At least let him have a boar spear instead of a ridiculous spear!

He did only like 2 damage to one of my guys before dying swiftly.

One of the bestest fortresses I have ever seen from the AI, no wonder why They fought like hell trying to keep it out of my hands, and it was the first fortress that I held my fingers off the raze button and ponder about keeping it.

Just another moment of the AI breaking many rules in the game xD

Oooh that's awfully smart of you titan, now I can't just dump a starfall on you then forget. I was forced to kill that titan before i could assault the city. Lost two steel golems to his weapons but he went down to my archers xD

This confirms that the AI know how to tame and create dragons for their armies at very least. It's good to know :)

Fully armored? Check.

Good weapon? Check.

Accessory ? o.o check!

Two devout warrior units plus 7 random trash units vs 9 good units of mine.... they died in vain to achieve nothing.

And, the ruin of firelands is bugged, I can't loot from it. :(

I sent heroes and random common units into it but I can't loot it.

Random screenshot as I ponder what was going through that poor city archer's mind with three giant golems surrounding him.

Another example of AI breaking tons and tons of rules :D

I assaulted this fortress with three steel golems, plus six Battlefield Wards which is guys in light plate armor and wielding longswords.

Apparently the AI can settle on shards. And I can improve the shards, I could click on it and build the upgrade despite the fortress being built on it!

And I screamed in horror when I saw what got revealed when I won the battle for this fortress.

TWO BANSHEES MY ARMY IS FUCKED!

The lich said something about me and my mom then assaulted the fortress instantly. My army got murdered by two banshees. :(

I suffered from bad case of butthurt on why they never attacked the fortress until I took it over and sent soliag the undefeated up ther eto light the banshees up then dumped a starfall on both of them.

Another case of AI units being retarded xD

Good armor and choice everything but.... icy spears? Why?

And he reminds me of sephiroth somehow.

Mausolos! This map is the first time I met that hero. Found him deep in altar lands and he joined me. I was like omg. o.o

And yes, this golem have spell casting animations! I had him cast a fireball and he started to wave his arms around xD

I capped this village from altar then after awhile i decided to check it and realized it never grew....

I think ais could settle villages on tiles with 0 food!

last batch of screenshots....

I started the assault on the last of Pariden.

They have burned about 30+ Armies trying to defeat and take the ruins of Imperia for themselves and break out of the lockdown i had imposed on them for the whole game. They just couldn't do it. They couldn't defeat even one of the five armies I had stationed there in Imperia so when time came around for them to go.  I decided to assemble the armies in the area plus four other wandering armies in the far north and sent them to join the assault on pariden.

Army 1

Army 2

Seems like carrying fourteen army groups was quite massive overkill because Pariden got destroyed in three or five turns <_<

Oh and remember Soliag's knight army?
Well the hp of that group went over 10k. xD

HP of each knight unit?

1279!

On a sidenote, one of my pets on this map which is a wolf named Anna.... it managed to stay alive for the whole game and not die, and reached level 16 with 106 hp! I forgot to take a screeny though xD One of my sand golems reached level 10 before being forced into a bad battle and died.

Time play of this map? 20 hours 13 minutes!

Oh and it was surprisingly trivial to grab whole units of champion armor/weapon for my heroes and soldiers.

I just uh researched economy +10% like 30 times while I was conquering the whole world. :P

And Ameystal valuts/Miner guilds is very important because they each give +2 metal/crystal a turn. I built all of those while ignoring prisons and etc xD ended up being a good decision because it allowed me to get so much champion armor.

I had heroes walking around in fully geared out with champion armor + weapons. lolz And it cost a fortune.
