Conquest victory condition

When i play LH i usually only take the victory Conquest, then when i have beaten every AI, the game still keeps going on? Do i need to beat every wildland and every monster too? Should i take on diplomacy victory condition too or should i go with them all?

Fixed - Turns out i always kept pressing Keep playing when i reached the endgame and thus ignored the text where it said No vicotry condition ;)

Ha, I completely forgot about that button. I always quickly start a new game.
