How to opt in to 1.4 beta?

When I right click LH ins team and go to the beta tab I see no option to opt into the latest 1.4 beta. Is it not available for testing?

Sorry, dude, but 1.4 is not in beta yet. You can tell at the top of the changelog. It will tell you when (and how) to opt in to the beta, when it becomes available.

Sorry guys, it isn't ready for public beta yet.  But we are working hard on it and it should be released soonish...

As a personal note it is awesome that you guys are out here reading change logs and looking forward to the next patch.  I read some other game forums where no matter what the dev does the community is bitter.  You guys are amazing and it definitly keeps us motivated and excited about improving the game.

Less typing!!  More patching!!    :)

We are indeed impatien... um... enthusiastic!

Maybe partly the reason that this community isn't bitter is because it is still a small community so to speak.

If you for example visit the developers board for Dota2 it is swarmed with trolls and up-to-no-goods (If you didn't already know Dota2 is a pretty big game)

Looking forward to more awesome patches!

Well, back atcha! You guys are amazing and usually very responsive! There are still some niggling issues, but you've done your best and we appreciate that.

Just remove those bunny slippers and I'll further support you

I think it's more about the type of person that plays 4X games than it is the size, per se. We're less likely to troll and more likely to offer constructive criticism!

Yeah I guess that do plays a part in it, too. I mean when there is no PvP in the game, then all the people who would want to "PvP" you on the developers board wouldn't even be here.

Those Bunny Slippers were changed from being random drops way back when we last talked about it.  Go buy some DLC! ;)

Are they for custom sovereign setup only then, or completely removed?

Yes.  The slippers are custom sov only, the lollilop is random only, but very rare apparently.

Yeah, never had the Lollipop drop on me.

For Steam users at least: Right click game in your library list, select Properties, then Beta tab, you can opt in from there.
