Clearing the Swamp

I'll bet I'm not the first to write about this, but how do you make the deseased swamp land habitable?

I've killed all the monsters (inc Morian), I've visited all lairs. So what is it? It just say "clear all the charred land" in the quest. What is charred land?

The most annoying thing is that I have done it once in the past. As I recalled I just killed Morian and that was it. It's really annoying!

Raise land spell (Earth 3) for regular swamp tiles. 

For the wildland, loot all lairs, they are hard to spot sometimes, and look just outside the border to see if there is some patrolling mobs there. Most cases I get confused like you do, it's a loot lair that is the offender.

But you can make icons apear above lairs in the HUD menu. That should make them very easy to spot.
