No Research - popup warning would be nice

For whatever reason, after loading a saved game, I was surprised to see myself with no research selected -- I have no idea exactly how many turns this was the case, but at least a few. Somehow, the research got deselected. It would be nice, if no research is selected, for whatever obscure reason, that before turn generation the research window would popup with something like "Are you sure you would not like to research any technology?"

It could be classified as a reload bug. (I've had that happen a couple of times when reloading) Another annoying reload bug is the unit disappearing act if you load at the turn they are trained. (possibly just previous autosave) I think there is some timing thing that is not optimal when reloading that makes these bugs.

speaking of reload bugs..   You can be attacked by the AI and die after ending your turn if you reload the autosave from that turn, you will not be dead as if the fight didn't happen.

Well, if this is happening in beta 1.3 the devs should know about it, as it is meant to be fixed (everything except smeagolheart's point - the AI still does not attack from reloading an autosave).
