1.3 ISSUE: Notification when neutral army enters your territory

Dear Derek and Brad,

I know that in your last update you mentioned 1.4 being the one where "UI improvements" will be done, but since you're still tinkering with 1.3, could you PLEASE add the functionality of notifying us not only when a hostile army enters our territory but also when NEUTRAL armies (of the other UIs) enter our territory?

I am hoping this would be a small change, using the same UI and functionality of the hostile army notification (an icon on the RHS - clicking on it goes to the army) but it would be a GREAT benefit to all of us players who have to keep "visually" patrolling their borders in order to find neutral armies / pioneers and tell them to get off their land, only to have them do it again in the next turn...

It also eliminates an unfair advantage, since the AIs presumably have an instant (coded) notification when we enter their territories, while we have to visually check all our borders EVERY TIME

I hope this is a simple enough fix that you can include it in the 1.3 launch even at this late hour, otherwise PLEASE PLEASE schedule it for 1.4 ...

Thanks again for a great game that is quickly evolving to legendary status,

Bendiwolf

I find it incredibly annoying trying to keep neutral pioneers from passing through my territory.  I have no desire to allow someone to traipse across the land and go settle a town in some corner where I have not yet been able to spare a pioneer.

Single bump for this issue in hopes of slipping it into the 1.3 patch...

I'll 3rd this. We need to have some sort of notification if the AI has any Pioneers/Armies in our ZOC. Sometimes you aren't paying attention to tell them to politely GTFO!

Granted, with allies I could unterstand letting them walk thru. But There should be a notification either way.

I usually "CTR+K" neutral/enemy pioneers in my lands. It's too annoying to chase them down.

Yep, as do I. I don't think you can call a game rule a success when people cheat to kill it regularly. Not that a lot of us do that, but I can't think of any significant group of folks who regard letting neutrals just sneak back in whenever they feel like it without any notice as a Really Good Idea.

Derek, any chance that this will be added in one of the next patches if not in 1.3 ?

I would like a notice for neutral units in your territory too like we currently have the notice for enemy units.  So whenever we see a notice for neutral units in our territory we can find them and order them out.   Even though it causes a diplomacy hit (I think) it's better than them being able to sneak through and get no notice.

I am in favor of this as well.   Would be very nice to have.
