Crashes to Desktop

Hi,

 

I am having an issue, namely after three or four hours of play (not necessarily at one sitting), the game will crash. I will validate the files on Steam, it will find a corrupt file and reacquire the file. Once the game is loaded, it will work normally for a turn or two and then crash again. Steam finds a corrupt file, reacquires it, I play, it crashes, over and over again.

 

This happened the last two games I played, the first was The Wildlands map and the second was the Fallen Enchantress: LH scenario.

Hopefully someone can provide help so I can finish one of them. I love the game, but it is so disheartening to keep devoting several hours of time to the game just to have it crash when things start to get really interesting.

There is always going to be 1 file that will be a "corrupt" file. Basically the game grabs all the xml and creates a new file for the program to read quicker than reading through the individual xml, so this is probably the corrupt file you are finding.

Hopefully the devs figure out why the game is crashing for you.
