Where is the Manual?
I don't see a button for the manual anywhere, nor a download link on Steam. I'd like to be able to print it out. Am I missing something obvious?

I found the manual PDF the game's folder, but finding that with a steam install is a little wonky due to how steam sets up apps.
OK thanks. The Manual seems very sparse on much information, such as spells. Is there a Spellbook anywhere?
One thing you may also want to update is information about statistics; the section of "Combat" has no information whatsoever on defense, armor, to-hit rolls, spell resistance, or anything of that sort.
Also, the Hiergamenon seems to be quite outdated in places, copied verbatim from earlier iterations of Elemental or Fallen Enchantress. For example, the entries on "Unit - Combat Statistics" still mention cutting, blunt, and piercing damage at various times.
The manual is actually the previous expansions manual with a few obvious changes (fame). Because of this there is a fair amount of incorrect information. I might do a post on the errata later. Very busy getting married right now. Anyways, check out the tutorials and such but the best way to learn this game is just tinker with it. After a few games check out some of the lets plays if you think you need more help.
(Congrats on that marriage btw Illauna :P)
The Hiergamenon has been so useless for so long, I get a good chuckle when the game suggests at the start to check it if you are lost.
My dream for it has always being for it to be greatly expanded, and that each article has two parts, one that actually explains the point in question, and one that is some sort of lore short tale regarding that.
Like say... fame has a little tale of how... Hosten was such a brilliant man that his knowledge spread far and wide, and it attracted a small boy seeking to be his apprentice or something. This would help Elemental get its lore known, which I liked a lot, and the thing is barely touched upon (Destiny Embers even had new lore we have yet to hear of ingame, it specially comes to mind the great city under the mountain chain of the East... how was it called again... let me check... Calebethon! (Would have been easier if the map showed it at all))
After all, isnt the Hiergamenon supposed to be Janusk's wikipedia like book? That tales the story of the world?
I'd just like it to be informative and accurate
If you right click on LH in your steam library one of the options is to view the player manual.
I do need to go through the hiergamenon and update the info.
Derek, it might not be a bad idea to start a thread, where we call out outdated hiergemanon entries and such. I've noticed a few, but figured you guys were mostly focused on mechanics/bug killing at the moment. Nonetheless, I figured that updates to the descriptions entries, etc. were still on the 'to do' list.
I just noticed that the 25% thing for the Adventurer's Guild is finally fixed/removed. Yay!
One discrepancy that I noticed today is the "DeadlyBite' ability. The description under the ability says 'A devastating bite that strikes for three times the unit's Attack', but the actual spelldef text says that it doubles the unit's attack. Just sharing now so I don't forget about it later.
Not trying to start a 'fix it' thread here, though. Just pointing out that I'm sure we'd love to help you guys out by pointing out the less obvious ones we notice as we are playing.
