Bug Still there from beta with Arching shield bash not working

You can select the skill you but you can never cast it in combat since it doesnt show up as skill or spell in tactical combat

I remember i manually fixed it in the beta but my manual fix got overwritten with the final release update so again not castable

 and unit does have shield equipped and its registered as having shield since can cast the normal shield bash just not the arching one

I have Arching shield bash working fine, the unit needs a shield in order for it to be used, but beyond that I had not trouble with ability. Beyond the fact that the ability tag and spell tags I think got mixed up at some point, but  it works just fine.

Well as i said i tried to fix it myself before aswell but in the final version the units that i have tried it with can select the skill and use the normal shield bash fine but the arching version is not castable doesnt show up on cast bar

I have a strong inkling that you are looking for the skill in the quick bar and not in the skills list. The game automatically puts items, spells and skills in the quick bar until it is full. Click the "Skills" or the "Spells" button next to the bar and look for the skill there. You can also assign a new quick button to the skill to put it in the quick bar.

nope  not it either ive tried creating unit  with just archinshield skill but even then doesnt work

So, I'm not sure how you go about doing this since arching shield bash is a level up perk for champions... but here is a screen shot showing you that it does show up in my game.

My main character has selected the trait Arching Shield Bash and Has a shield equipped... maybe you should post up picks showing your character having the skill, but it not showing up in tactical combat.

Maybe it has to do with your sovereign being mounted? I do not know what bug is in the files that would cause the arching shield bash not to show up.

Also, are you playing a modded game? That sovereign has very low hitpoints given that arching shield bash is really a level 7 skill.

this was just a quick soveriegn i made to show the issue and shield bash is working fine which shows it detects shield but arching shield bash not working and doesnt work on pregenerated sovereigns/ champiosn  either for me i did manage to get it tow work by changing the XML file on a previous version but it got overwritten by the new release  :-)
