Credit for impaired use?
Does Stardock credit your license for time using an app with known and unfixed issues? (In this case Fences does not operate properly in Win 8)
Stardock will be closed for the week starting on Monday, June 29th and we will be returning on Monday, July 6th. We will be monitoring support tickets and forums during this time but expect delays in responses during this time.

I don't think so. You could send an email to sales@ stardock.com
Also maybe send an email to support @stardock.com
I have Fences2 on Windows 8 and it works fine. So maybe they can help you fix yours.
If you purchased Fences as a stand-alone , there is no "time period" to extend. You get all updates until the next version number.
This being an account question, it is best to handle those through the email system anyway, not the forums.
Did that. Reply: This is a known issue and is being addressed for a future patch release. I cannot, however, provide a timeline for it.
