How does one get unique equipment when they create a custom faction. i made one and never had any whats up with that is it an error or did i do something wrong
some of the special items replace existing items in the tech tree. for example, a faction with "light plate" builds light plate armor instead of chain armor. in this case, you still need the armor technology to unlock the items.
other items are available from the start (like the poison vial for faction with "assassins tools"), but to use them with a custom faction, you'll probably have to make your own unit designs and add the extra item to you design.
