Uphill in the snow both ways?
What is the deal here. We have a non-aggression pact and I have to go 6 turns out of my way to go 2 squares? How could this make it live?

Stardock will be closed for the week starting on Monday, June 29th and we will be returning on Monday, July 6th. We will be monitoring support tickets and forums during this time but expect delays in responses during this time.

maybe because it is intended to work that way?
And this is not a multiplayer game...
If it's intended, it's crappy. Two groups not at war with each other should be able to pass each other civilly on a road. It's been done for thousands of years. The English did the pass each other on the right in order to show that each side had their weapon hand empty. That's why they drive on the left hand side of the road. Editing out the multiplayer part. I never paid attention to that as I don't have any friend that play.
I agree. Frankly it annoys me when the pathing goes around the AI's territory even when we do NOT have a non aggression pact. The AI certainly doesn't seem to have any compunction about walking through my land!
If we have to do that can we at least have a waypoint system where we tell it to take the first step in and then go to where we want it eventually? It gets bad when you have 20 pioneers that all want to go miles out of the way because the AI put one outpost in a key location.
