It is release day and we still got the Beta Loading screen.

Yep, according to Steam release will be in about 11 to 12 hours from now.

ever goddamn indie games publish release snapshot long before actual release.

Umm.. no.  

Even Indie games have a countdown to release, whether you like it or not.  

12:01am on release day is when I expect to see it. Any later is unacceptable. It completely ruins the game for me otherwise.

And besides that there was a long running beta everybody who preordered could join.

Are you guys serious?  The game is not even released yet, like every other game there is a specific time for release. 

It releases in 4 hours. Steam runs off PST time (I think).

Around 1pm Eastern Time today gang.

Those guys at Stardock are not serious! Now they will release at 23:59:59 and claim "It's still release day"

this means:

They will release untested snapshot as 1.00 or miss release date.

as you may notice, current beta version still contain lots of minor issues, collectively this issues will harm impression from game, especially idiotic tactical camera and rainofarrows 11 seconds delay (also numerous spells that does not work or work in unexpected manner, broken quests, forced champions, buggy research) just open this forum branch and check 2-3 pages, 95% of bugs are still in 095...

I was just friendly reminding those people who need to publish the game about it. One can easily forget the loading screen imho.

Yeah, but you know how this goes.  There are always people who will interwebs hate on the smallest things, for no real reason other than to do it.

This game in its 0.92 / 0.95 state is far less buggy and more stable than many other games that were released by much bigger houses (remember oblivion when it came out? skyrim? fallout? HOMM?)

For every game that I can remember (and I've been playing games since the original Spectrum Lords of Midnight) there is need for a post-release patch or two in order to get every single bug - and sometimes even those patches are not enough, and modders have to step in (Unofficial Patches etc.)

IMHO, Stardock, with its limited resources and budget, has been VERY receptive about fixing bugs throughout the beta process, and is entitled to release the game as-is - although I am secretly still hoping for some new functionality in the 1.0 version...
