I've seen that form before somewhere. I think someone at DevArt uses it a lot. Can't point out any specifics though.

If there was a search function in this wonderful place I would have used it and not bothered you... please forgive me for asking a question......most newsgroups\message boards have at least a couple people who amazingly have the patience to answer newbies questions over and over again.....you have proven my point very nicely about the clique here.....by the way I somehow mistakenly thought that this was a place to gain information....if you dont have anything constructive to say to me why dont you take some Pepto Bismol..... it might help that sick feeling that I give you.

bjdbrad, I don't think clique-ish is a reasonable way to describe the people here.

With regards to your question, if people don't know the answer, they aren't likely to respond. To assume that they didn't respond because they aren't friendly seems unfair.

Even I don't have a quick answer to your question. WindowBlinds 4 is scheduled to allow you to set the color on specific parts of the Windows GUI skin (like the Start button). But barring that it gets a bit trickier.

Regarding posts like these, it's a fairly straight forward divide:

You have one group, which I'm part of, that finds having pop-ups and spy ware installation offers and other rank commercialization in your face to be distracting and bothersome and would rather see a given site try to find ways for their core users to support the site so that that kind of thing can be avoided.

And then you have the other group that either uses pop up blockers (which cause the site to lose money) or doesn't mind them who doens't see why WC doesn't just go that way.

Cims seems to be of the latter group. If he'd just register WindowBlinds or whatever program he's using all those downloads on or participate more (a few wallpapers doesn't quite meet that level IMO) or get a subscription then he'd be fine. I'd rather have the 0.1% of users who've downloaded a lot of stuff be asked to contribute than have 99.9% of users be bombered with pop up ads and spyware (go to ezthemes.com, they include Gator with their skin files - that's the alternative).

I personally stopped using my pop up blocker for a a while cuz I felt guilty when visiting some sites but I've been in somewhat an evil mood lately and tired of 5 million windows popping up and locking me so I may be wicked and open up mozilla for this week or until my evilness goes away.

banners = good (none imposing)

Can't really tell you anything about life except this. The people in my life who have now gone on to whatever lies after, all spent way too much time sweating the little, unimportant, and relatively useless things like this. They forgot to just enjoy life. They forgot that they should be here trying to do some good, not worrying about who was the most recent person to say something that got their nose out of joint.

What do I know about life? Not much, but I can tell you what life isn't.

It isn't spending all your time being a huge drama queen.

Just to let you know, I have written everything I have written while laughing my ass off. You see, to me, it really doesn't matter. After loosing 3 people in my life to heart attacks, and having had one of my own 3 years ago that left me recovering for nearly 2 months, I don't take anything seriously. Absolutely nothing.

Belly button pics. Seems to be a well kept secret until now. (I think this thread is aiming for the Chat room marathon award.) By the way, what is a "clique." I don't think I have seen one here. How do you program it into Windowblinds I'm wondering. Has to be something you can skin or it definitely wouldn't be worthwhile using and a defnite waste of time.
