start button

I installed star8 to my new windows 8 computer, but now I don't have a start button in the screen,  therefore I can't

shut down the computer. Can anyone out there help.

I have a computer with windows 8 I don't want all these apps on my starting screen. so I purchased

star8. I download the star8 program now I have the screen I want without the apps but I don't have

a start button in the screen so therefore I don't have anything to close my computer with unless I use

ctrl-alt delete.  I hope this helps.

Please post a screenshot of your screen with the start menu open.  There should be a button.
