Frog Alter

I tried out the new campaign and for the life of me, I can't figure out what to give at the frog alter.  Does anybody know?

You should know by now that all frogs want a kiss to become a charming prince / princess :)

Haha, that made me choke on my coffee. Such arrogance to have that be the first thing you see in the scenario, all hail the Frog.. too funny.

It's not arrogance because Brad didn't have anything to do with it.  He didn't work on the scenario, I did.  But yes, the Frog Altar is a little homage to Brad.  Much as Miredesi is a homage to another famous video game legend.

Miredesi = Sid Meier?

This practice isn't unusual. The "ring of Gaxx" was named after Gary Gygax, for example.

There is a reference to Gygax in LH too on the Archmage robe.

Homage is a good thing, well done Derek.

Did you pull that from the Internet, or did you specifically design that as part of your master plan?

that toad is from an episode of Futurama i think

It's the hypnotoad.

Love the subtle (or sometimes not) homages. Now you just need a reference to Notch/Minecraft.

This from the man who brought us Ozzy Faber.

Notch Minecraft, >> notched pickax in Skyrim >> LH: Notched flaming Axs wielded by frogy troops.

Woot! I found the right offering to Frogboy!

Yes, found froogy, found offering, cool. A 'light' snack.

Oi Elana you missed out by not kissing the frog. Prince Charming level 20 would have joined your army and help you defeat the big bad OGRE! :)

Nice, I need a prince charming... and Shreck may keep 'his' Charming... lol.

BTW, you meant an "altar," (place) not "alter" (not a place...), Oh, never mind, when the offering is placed on the altar, the altar alters into non-existence. Silly me. j/k

How do you kiss the frog?  (don't worry I thought about it for 2 seconds and realise I have the item in my inventory :D)

Not that it matters too much at the moment as I seem to have discovered a bug in the scenario with winters grip and no dispel magic in the magic tree... Is it meant to stop training and building in every single city?  I can see the original city that was hit with the city curse (winters grip) and the icon shows in the cities detail screen... the icon doesn't show in any others detail screen but all of my 20 plus cities are stuck unable to train or build...

On the whole though I am loving FE:LH - needs a spell to create artifact items for heroes in my opinion... I'd pay for the DLC for the ability to craft items like I could in MoM as it was one of my favourite parts of the game...

Whoops you are right.  Used the wrong kind of altar.  What I get for writing messages when I am about to fall asleep.
