I have allot of icons on my desktop I opened Fences and it rearranged them automatically how can I restore mt desktop like is was so I don't have to move each of them back to where they were

On the layout tab you can restore from a previous snapshot
Also, at the top of that page are settings for what you want to happen on resolution changes.
