[.85 Bug] Unit(s) placed outside city battle map

I know this has been reported before, but I went back 7 pages in the support forum and couldn't find a previous post.

Anyway, I attacked a city and discovered that the sovereign whose city I was attacking was placed way outside the tactical city map.  There were a lot of defending units, all of which have already been killed in this screen shot.  I had to zoom way out to find him.

Same thing happened to me, also in 0.85, except it was both the sovereign and a recovering hero. Looks like I was on the same map too.

Previously this bug was thought to be caused by the system accidentally dumping extra units into the map, but from the screenshots, it doesn't look like that's the case here.
