crashing issues

Been trying out the .85 beta and while the game is better than in the Elemental days I have tried three different games with different settings and map sizes and in all cases after I play for a while I get a crash to desktop.  If I load the autosave I end up crashing again in a turn or four without matching the exact moves I took last time.

Also having problems with transports.  Sometimes the ship will let my guys off on the beach, other times it wont.
