[.80] Annoying AI Difficulty Bonuses

I like playing on harder difficulties but lately I find myself sticking to challenging. This is because if I move up to hard I start seeing the AI units getting a bunch of really random free traits. It's not the harder game play aspect that bugs me it's how it ruins immersion. Why am I designing units if the AI doesn't play by the same rules and can just throw any traits it wants on its units. I know all cheating is somewhat like this but this example is really really glaring and obnoxious. I prefer subtler bonuses for the AI like say +1 level on all troops, or experiences multipliers. These would accomplish the same thing without being so obvious and making unit design pointless.

Heh, love reading all the bonuses the AI is putting on its units.  Double blood lust is its favorite.  A lot of the traits, I'm like where do I get those for my units???  Its not even an option!

I'd love to see the AI play smarter.

Like if my main army ventures into enemy territory, I'd like to see the AI start casting chain tremors on it, while it takes its  armies (cause he's the AI, and has like 10 of them) to go destroy my civilization, which is now fairly defenseless.

Or like life warding units before key battles.

Or leveling mountains blocking him from attacking me except at choke points.  Or putting hills up to impede my movement in its territory.

Hopefully they got someone good to revamp the AI.  I'd love to see the AI beating me up at higher difficulty because its being clever, not just because its drowning me in armies with better stats.
