Can't delete custom factions

I'm going to the mygames\legendaryheroes\races folder and deleting them but when I start the game they reappear in the factions list. What's going on? How can I delete these? Does this have something to do with steam? Thanks.

It might have to do with the steam cloud. Which you can switch off for Legendary Heroes (the switch is game specific and in the properties).

they stored directly inside game data, i was forced to reinstall game completely to remove custom factions.

they can also get screwy by steam cloud, there have been a few posts about how steam cloud will just put them back in.

Turning Steam Cloud off for LH will allow you to delete custom stuff without it coming back.

I've created a custom race, but the 'MyGames\LH\Race' and 'RaceTypes' folders are empty? I've got no idea where it is saved to, but Steam Cloud is completely disabled on my account (and has been since long before I bought LH).
