Just felt it would be fun to mention this.

In one turn, simultaneously and without my doing anything, i just got 3 messages from Yithril. They were, in this order:

1. The altar pose a big threat to us, can't you see that? please open your eyes and fight them. blahblahblah (a message of no real consequence)

2. Your insolence can no longer be tolerated. We will wipe you from the face of the world! (Yithril declares war on me)

3. We bow down to your majesty, please accept this humble offering (Yithril offers me tribute)

I accepted the tribute, but it doesn't seem to have worked. they're not paying me tribute, presumably the war status overrides that.

the AI should probably make its mind up though. This is actually my fourth "war" with yithril. i've mostly ignored them all game while they keep declaring war and making up, it's like ross and rachel. they've never gotten farther than sending a tiny handful of militia to pillage a clay mine though.
