[.50 Stealth Skill Bug]

For the most part the skill seems to be working correctly but noticed 2 times in my recent game where it didn't.

1) Pioneer attacked by monster

2) Army attacked by mite army

Also, we were discussing the mechanic of this skill in regards to cities in another thread (towards the bottom of page 1 into 2 https://forums.elementalgame.com/441721/page/1/#replies). The skill says monsters will ignore units, not cities. Provided the skill does not extend to cities it seems to be working. However, if cities are supposed to benefit too, the skill isn't working properly. I had cities attacked by a lone Butcherman, Mite army, and an army of the crystal worms.

I've had no attacks on my cities, despite having a storm dragon wandering through my territory for at least 20 turns (and a few other monsters).  I did have an improvement attacked (only once) by a fire snake that appeared with the fire storm random event...

THey do ignore the unit, but if they randomly step into them, combat will start.  Stealth isn't foolproof.

Also, wildlands monsters will ignore stealth completely, even out of the wildlands.

I think it this point it may be WAD

Stealth has never worked.  I used to run it in my custom faction, but my armies kept getting attacked regardless.  I switched to non-Stealth, and my units were getting attacked at about the same frequency.  I don't think that Stealth is intended to prevent cities from being attacked, but it's obviously not working as intended so far.

I reported this issue back in 1.2.

In regards to the linked thread, monsters are more likely to ignore AI players' units the higher the difficulty.  I play on Insane, and AI units are never attacked by monsters.  That's how they make it harder.  Stealth is a dead trait to them at that point (well, it's a dead trait anyway since it doesn't work, but it would still be if it did, at that level).
