Thanks for the free games

Hi

I wanted to say thank you for all your hard work and commitment, it is much appreciated. I think the ghost of EWOM is laid to rest, LH is a good solid beta and lots of fun. I have only played for a few hours but it really has the one more turn thing (keep carrying on after i have saved and need to go and do something else!)

I like the heores and the progession system. The combat has much more depth and now i want to field a variety of troops. Although the mounted units thing is still a problem, they should have a downside.

Love the new quests and special events, I just got panther hero!

Thank you for the free games now make more i will buy them.

Cheers

Captin Dan

I too feel a "thank you" is in order. Even though FE did not become my absolute favorite, I am hoping that LH could prove to be more intriguing.

Overall, for the money I used to buy Elemental, I have received tremendous value.

So thank you very much and best of luck in your present and future endeavours.

Same here - the beta so far is looking like the game I was hoping for first time around - thanks and well done.

I would also like to express a "Thank You". I wont be able to start the LH Beta until I get home in about 3 weeks and have a stable Internet connection to get onto Steam. However, I have FE installed on my laptop and it has greatly helped passed the time up here in the oil patch!! Can only watch so much TV... haha

I agree and commend the dev team. I don't regret my purchase of EWOM anymore, they've made good on thier promises and for that they have my loyalty, till death.

Yes, thanks are in order. You didn't have to give me these games, but you did.

As such, you'll have a fan for life. Through thick and thin.

Bravo on Legendary Heroes. It's amazing!

I have to thank you for this as well. I bought the WOM SE. While it was a definite disappointment, Stardock has more than regained my confidence in their products. I'll be buying Stardock games for decades to come.

My job is in marketing, and I can't really say I'm loyal to more than 3 brands in existence. Stardock is one of them.

Yes, I agree; a hearty 'thank you' is clearly appropriate here. SD did what many companies don't do: the right thing. Thank you SD, Froggy, et al for doing the right thing, and more than making things right with those of us that trusted you with that 'game that is not to be named.' You made good on your word. Capitol.

Same here. I'm really grateful for getting LH for free, even though I'm not going to play it due to Steam. All the comments and Let's Plays show, that I'm missing out on a great game, but that is what's happening, if you have principles, you're not willing to abandon. In any case, I wish LH gets the recognition and success it deserves.

A big 'Thank you' from me too.  Good to experience a company that cares about its customers.

Been playing the beta since last night and I had a blast with it.  Keep up the good work.

One more thankful customer reporting in.

THANK YOU, Stardock, for developing and continuing to develop awesome games, but first of all for being as far as I know The One And The Only responsible company in game development industry.

Likewise, a grateful customer for staying the course and adding depth and complexity and delivering a wonderful gaming experience.

I look forward to the future and many expansions of LH ;)

Ya I sure as hell didn't see this coming for another free game. Thank you.

I would also like to thank the devs, not for giving games out for free (I paid for mine), but for the quality of their work and their dialogue with us, their user base. Thank you for your dedication, skills and ability to listen. It is much appreciated <3

Thank you again for the free game and for giving us all what we have finally been waiting for since EWOM.

Thank you very much Stardock. You're almost too kind. Please charge me for the next expension. ;)

..And thank you once more for the development of Fallen Enchantress. The game really is a gem, and now it's potential really starts to be fully exploited.

Wishes for the future to further build on the potential of this game: Naval features (sea quests, naval warfare, naval yards, naval techs, naval hero traits, naval units etc.) and multiplayer. :D

NB! I also agree with OP that mounted units still are too good and cost effective. They should have an insane training time/cost, so you just built a few elite ones. They could also have some downsides like less accuracy (think firing a bow, or waving a sword from horseback) or/and be very vulnerable from spear/pike-units.

A thank you from me as well - speaking economically: We really got a lot of bang now for our EWoM bucks :-)
