Stamp DLC on the horizon?

Good Morning

So, the Map Pack DLC was released giving several rigid enviroments to explore and play in. I took a pass on this one because I rarely play on predesigned maps. In fact, out of all the 4x gaming I have ever done, I can probably counts the number of times I've played a predesigned map on a single hand.

To that end, I wondering and eagerly awaiting if any thought or plans were given to design and implementation of a Stamps/Battleground DLC?

I would solidly love and support expanding the uniqueness of the random map generator.

If it does, I am unawares. I recall a thread that mentioned map pack coming, but stamps were not advertised and so I paid the DLC no mind.

If the Map Pack does indeed include stamps for random maps, I'll be revisiting that purchase decision. ;)

The DLC has quite a few nice new stamps.

Unless I am mistaken, some of the stamps included in the DLC are Wildlands (the ones used in the "Wildlands" map). Those alone are worth the $5.

Having said that, I think that a new map pack loaded with many new stamps would be cool and add a lot to the game. BUT it should be advertised as something that improves random maps, and not just as a bunch of maps.

Since enough have now replied stating that new stamps are indeed included, I will most certainly be picking it up from stardock.com today.

The maps on the map pack are great. Dust Bowl (no horses or wargs, lots of island goodies to sail for) and Anthys (absurdly huge, great geography) are worth the price of admission.

mush more variety then before.

 

I would love to know how to export randomly generated map (from a save game?)

 

there are some great maps generated....would be a waste not being able to edit them and play again as another faction...or share with you others...

I love the monster-sized continent included with the DLC.  That's been worth the price alone.
