Come on, this is so easy to do... Just to save a single click for the lifetime of the game ? ... please let the DEVs focus on more important issues

Just to set things straight, I happen to agree with your "suggestion" but also feel that the devs should focus on the real issues.
The first impression people currently get of the game is with Auto-Turn On, which is likely to be confusing and a bit of downer. Especially since sometimes you want to move a Pioneer (or the Sov with the first city) full movement and then settle. That is not possible with Auto-Turn On. It would be a very simple change and those who still want it on can turn it on, and newbies are not put off (which I think would be the general impression) because of it. First impressions count, even for FE.
what is obvious to us might not be so obvious to new players and I strongly agree Auto turn on would just confuse them and turn them away From this great game.
