[BUG] Leader stuck in terrain

Playing the scenario I am on Chapter 11 and three times so far in this chapter I have been in a fight where my main guy (the leader) has been stuck in the terrain on the extreme left-hand side of the combat terrain map (up in mountain or hill terrain) where cannot move so effectively he just has to stand there and 'pass' every turn (or cast spells).  But he can't move.  The combat map was different all three times (twice when I was the lower right side and once when I was the upper left side).

Small followup:

 

I had a mage group join me and now sometimes the mages AND the leader are both trapped on the far left of the map.  I think the bug is because I have more party members than some maps know what to do with?

That happened to me too - although who is trapped seems to be random. I think you are right, parties in the scenario can grow too large. It does not happen in a normal game. Split up your group; it is too strong anyway. ;)
