Flashing Textures During Combat (SOLVED... kind of)

Version 1.12.

During combat, there are tons of flashing textures.  I don't think I've ever gone through combat without it happening.  It's not a deal breaker for me, but it sure is annoying.  I'm running two HD7970 in crossfire... does anyone know of any major problems with these cards?  In the past, with some games, I've had situations where there was just that one setting that you could toggle, and all of a sudden things were perfect; hopefully, that is the case here. Drivers are up to date; I'm pretty religious about that.

EDIT--It's the anti-aliasing method; in Catalyst Control Center, selecting anything other than MSAA results in graphical glitches.  I guess this is technically solved, but it would be awesome if Stardock could get in touch with AMD and resolve this issue for their next driver release so that I could use something other than the most basic anti-aliasing method.

FE and the AMD anti-aliasing don't get along.  Try setting your Anti-Aliasing to Adaptive Multi sample from your control panel and you get black screens. This is without having it forced.  Super sample seems to work better, but you still get glitches and the odd flashing texture.

I actually got white screens with the adaptive version, but otherwise it sounds like we're experiencing the same thing.  I just set it to MSAA... the quality isn't as good as super-sampling, but it's a lot less annoying than having flashing textures.

I have a 7970 as well and was having the same problem. I'll try the MSAA to see if that fixes it for me as well.

Yes, your right.  I get white screen where the map suppose to be and black screens replace some of the graphics such as characters.
