Webblinds causing IE 6 to crash

Webblinds was working on my system but now it is causing IE 6 to crash every time I start IE. It's the same webblinds.dll that is causing the crash every time. It doesn't crash if Webblinds is disabled.
Should I uninstall webblinds, and then reinstall?
I'm using Win XP Pro.
Thanks for any help in advance.

One time when I was using it, I had it set to load a certain windowblinds skin. When I deleted that skin, I forgot that webblinds was depending on it... I ran into problems with that. Dono if this is your problem.

Yeah, I was screwing around with it and found that it was the ballz throbber that was causing the crash.
It's fixed now.
Thanks for the quick reply!

hey Lurchlee,

I have the exact same problem. Sometimes when I close IE, an error message pops up telling me whether to send a report and to restart IE. What did you do to prevent the error?

Thanks.

Had the same prob. But instead of unload/load I uninstalled and now I'm on the shareware version and I cant seem to get the real issue back because it came with OD package.

what do you mean by "can't seem to get the real issue back"? Do you mean once you install the shareware version you cannot use the paid version of webblinds?

Don't know what he means, but the paid version will usually overlay the shareware version. Sometimes you might have to selete the shareware first then load the paid version. But you can use the shareware version first and then get the paid version and have no problems.

Thank you Mannik and everyone else,

I have installed and run the shareware version of webblinds and it no longer causes any problems.
