1.1 random crash when doing random things

Over the past week I have had crashes almost every play session. The music gets interrupted for about a second, and the game is completely locked up at that point. Clicking anywhere on the screen brings up the windows message about the program has stopped responding and do I want to search for a solution.

This has happened on large maps, it happens on medium maps. It occurs when the AI is processing their turn, it happens when I am scrolling the map to move my units. Is anyone else seeing this behavior and can you add anything that would help track down this bug?
