[balance] lord of the flame
just a suggestion, that guy should have at least coal stones or fireball instead of ember

Typically anything with 'Lord' in the name usually turns out to be less powerful than first imagined. Take 'Lord of the rings' for example and you think, "wow, lord of all rings, that must be powerful" "watch me mow down all those trolls with lightning bolts, watch me summon a giant elemental to fight for me" Oh yea, Lord of the rings.... then you find out it just make you invisible, or greedy, that it, big whoop, Not lord of the rings, lord of the flops!!!
@Mystikmind:
Technically, mere possession of the Ruling Ring did not make you Lord of the Rings. That title belonged in truth only to Sauron, or potentially to someone who had the strength within them to master the Ruling Ring and dethrone Sauron. And Sauron, judging from Tolkein's writings, was a very powerful sorceror even without his ring.
With regards to the original post, I agree that the Lord of the Flame should have some more potent fire spell than ember
Power of ring only answer to one master, not people who wear those... it's sort of like DNA computer won't answer to you unless your finger, your eye is match to computer system then it's allowed you to use computer or power...It's sort of useless to many that use or touch but not a owner but useful to one who are owners who had hold it... Normal, I don't know why some people in lord of ring so let ring control thier life and more importian to them than firendship and lovers...
Are we talkin gabout the Delin Guy, or the Fire Elemental Guy that usually has a few Ignys with him.
I have not faced Delin for quite sometime time. The few times I did, he breaks apart into several fire elementals and ignys. I think he should stay as the same big figure and should have all kinds of fire spells.
If it is the Fire Elemental guy that seems fairly common, I would not mind seeing an upgrade in his spell. Coal Stones or Fireball would both be good choices.
Judging by how devastating darkling shamans and dark wizards are, the world would be far more deadly if the high HP mobs also had high lethality spells.
And I say, go for it!
I don't see why not. Any well prepared player would be using fire protection gear. I typically put at least fire rings on all my troops late game. Bonus damage and protection from a very very common element is a must.
Although there is no defense to pure damage death spells, like Despair, other than a high spell resistance (which only halves damage).
