[Suggestion\Tweak] Have Letters of Mark give you a Henchman or a 3-stack of upgradable Wallaces instead

Or would it be Wallaci?

A single non-upgradable Wallace is quickly obsolete unless you find him in the first 10-15 turns.

OTOH... if he came with Gromit... that would be fun!

Absolutely. He is completely useless... Do you find him useful even on turn 10-15?

Shhh!  I didn't want to hurt his feelings... he's sensitive about the whole meatshield thing. }:)

I found a minor "use": Wallace has a great "aggro", all monsters go to pursuit him...so it can be used for a partial "manipulation" of the tactical combat.

Anyway, I use him only in the first combat where he usually dies.  If autoresolve do not finishes him, then he WILL die in the second fight.

If he could be "henched" (grow levels and get traits, maybe even giving him items) then maybe he could be an interesting character to try to keep alive.

And if he had the convert bandit/syndicate ability, that would be awesome fun and still not OP.

He's worth... 18 gildar (if I remember correctly). Sell the scroll and think of it as a couple of wolf's pelt.

Yeah, Kalin, I hear ya, but the whole point is to get cool stuff, gildar is nice but... meh.

I'd trade a Wallace for a collar, any day.  Hell, I'd trade a Wallace for a dagger.  At least I can get some gold for the dagger.

End of Glazunov1's quote

I just sell the scroll.  The guy is not worth 18 gold.
